The New York City German Language Halloween Meetup

This year's Halloween party is in the VERY dark and VERY spooooky upstairs laboratory of the Jekyll & Hyde Pub, 91 7th Avenue South, in the heart of Greenwich Village. This is a costume P-A-R-T-Y, and there will be lots of nifty prizes, so start working on your outfit today!

The J&H Pub serves Gaffel, Jever and assorted other beers, and we will of course DJ our own music. I will try to populate the play list with creepier numbers, so don't be surprised by the occasionally raucous, suicidal strains of die Ärzte, Falco, Frank Zander and Toten Hosen. Or if Peter grabs the microphone for one last ghoulish rendition of "Echte Fründe."

The J&H Pub serves food, but PLEASE BE FOREWARNED -- many consider the cooking at J&H spookier than its ambience. If you have a sensitive stomach, please order dinner elsewhere and do not, whatever you do, complain in your feedback forms about what we already know. We picked the place because it serves excellent German beer and was willing to lend us their haunted upstairs lounge for a private deutschsprachige Halloween party, not because of the food.
