  •  Pat is the host of all hosts, the master in commander, and I am in awe of his organizational skills. He is also a very giving person and good friend to have if you need someone to talk to. Thank you, Pat, for organizing this group; you've really created a very special community.

  •  Pat's a great guy and a lot of fun. Thanks for all your work not only as the organizer of the group, but also for keeping us informed about other events to participate in.

  •  Team player and mentor all the way! You've been a sage on meetup.com and great help to so many. Keep 'em honest Pat ... one of you sterling qualities I so admire.

  •  Yes, everything you read in the other testimonials is true. Pat Finegan is THE (!) best group leader any group can wish for. He is an incredible human being, a wonderful host and the perfect networker. Following is a quote from an e-mail I recently sent to him:

"Für mich bist Du der ideale Leiter und wir alle können Dir für Deine Mühe und Zeit, die Du investierst, nicht genug danken. Ohne Dich wäre die German Language Meetup Gruppe nicht das, was sie jetzt ist. Vielen, vielen Dank für alles."...

  •  Pat has taught me more about being a great Organizer than any other member of Meetup. Pat, thank you for being there, and for being an inspiration to the rest of us.

  •  The German Language Meetup Group verdankt alles Pat: Mitgliederzahl, Rating, tolle Organisation und er kennt jeden beim Namen! Great guy, job more than well done!

  •  There aren't enough words to describe how awesome, incredible, and amazing our organizer is! Not only is Pat an unbelievable host every time - he is a tried and true great friend and I count myself lucky to know him!

    Norina (Dec 12, 2005 11:54 AM)
  •  I get to be the first one to write a testimonial for Pat! I first met Pat in early 2003, at one of the early German Language meetups. I think there were 6 of us and we all managed to fit at one table. It's amazing to see how this group has grown since Pat has been the organizer! There are countless people in the city whose social calendars now feature his events as a "can't miss" event every month. It seems like German is becoming a chic language to learn in New York and Pat is as much a part of...
