This is a night where ladies spend a night on the town. This event will have TWO parts. Ladies Dinner Ladies Only It's restaurant week in DC, so we can take full advantage! My Number one choice for dinner is DC Coast (if we can get a reservation) Next choice's would be Marrakesh Palace- easy for groups * Lima- Good food, different flavor and good location After dinner you can either head home or come out dancing for a bit The next half is open to our male counterparts- We will start at Lotus Lounge, than head over to Park at 14th. Die letzte zwei Meetups beim Brikskeller waren sehr erfolgreich; beim beiden waren mehr als funfzig Teilnehmern dabei. Die erste Chance des Jahres auf dem "stadtberuhmten Stammtich beim Brikskeller" teilzunehmen! The cover is normally $10, but the charge is waived until 11:30. Continental is a really great place, alot of room..... great drink specials till 8p (thats why i made this early) Large portions of food too! 1 BLOCK from the Metro, 1st stop in VA Attention DC residents: I have spoken to my contacts in the Commonwealth of VA and they have agreed to waive your visa requirements There is now no excuses why you cant come over !!!! Dec 08 18 2008 7:00 PM	Tölzer Knabenchor (Boy's Choir) 19 attended (est.) – 4.504 Der weltberühmte Tölzer Knabenchor wird am 18. Dezember, 19:00 Uhr, in der weihnachtlich geschmückten United Church, Washington, DC, eine Alpenländische Weihnacht aufführen. Neben klassischen Weihnachtsliedern werden auch traditionelle Weihnachtslieder u.a. aus den Gegenden von Salzburg, Kärnten, Steiermark, Tirol und Südtirol aufgeführt. Im Anschluss laden wir zu Glühwein, apple cider, Lebkuchen und Stollen ein. The world-famous Toelzer Knabenchor (boys' choir) will present an Alpenländische Weihnacht concert on December 17 and 18, at 7:00 pm, in the United Church, Washington, DC. In additon to traditional Christmas songs, they will also perform pieces from German-speaking Alpine areas. A reception with hot mulled wine, apple cider, and Christmas cookies will follow. Tickets 20$, children (6-12) 10$ available at: boxofficetickets.com/germany Note that an RSVP on the Meetup website does not guarantee entrance. Please RSVP Yes only after you have bought tickets from the Embassy. If you can't make it Thursday, they are also giving a concert on Wednesday the 17th.
