PS: We have a small Organizer crisis due to the fact that my work demands a bit of travel away from Melbourne and the most excellent Assitant Organizer (Maree) will be taking some leave to explore the more beautiful parts of Europe. I encourage anyone to come along to brunch not just to chat German but also help find a better way to get ourselves organised. I think we already have a great little group that will only grow with time but needs at least a core group of two organisers to work best.

I'd like to suggest a meet-up to see a Film at the German Film Festival.

German Film - BARFUSS (Barefoot)

Leading actor Til Schweiger adds director, screenwriter, producer and editor to his credits with this offbeat love story. Schweiger stars as Nick Keller, who’s considered the black sheep of his family and is as unsuccessful in love as he is at holding down a job. Things begin to change when he begins working at a psychiatric clinic, where he prevents a young woman, Leila (Johanna Wokalek), from committing suicide. Barefoot and dressed only in her nightgown, Leila follows Nick home and refuses to return to the clinic. Despite his uncertainties, Nick takes the fragile girl into his care and on a journey that will profoundly affect them both.

Zu Fuss ist diese Kneipe ganz einfach von der Richmond train station zu erreichen in ungefaehr 5 Minuten (link zur Karte: www.whereis.com.au mit der 238 Lennox Street, Richmond). Parken klappt dort auch.

Die Kneipe hat einen grossen (fuer Australische verhaehltnisse) Biergarten. Wir warten hinten links auf Euch.

Freu mich schon Euch Alle wieder zu sehen und ein bisschen Deutsch zu quatschen.

Die Idee hinter diesem Meetup ist einfach; wir treffen uns, und sprechen Deutsch weil es Spass macht. Ach es gibt ja so viel zum quatschen: Wo kommst Du her; Verbindungen zur Deutschen Sprache, H5N1 in Deutschland, Frankfurter Flughafen im Schnee; 4:1 Verlust gegen Italien, Die Weisswurstlinie! Das wuerde ja schon bis zum achten Akt reichen.

Also Leute, kommt doch einfach vorbei (bitte RSVP'd) selbst wenn es nur fuer eine kurze Zeit ist. Freunde, Bekannte, Alle sind wilkommen.
