Introduction

Two reasons: I have a strong interest in Germany in part due to my family heritage, and I want to learn the German language. I have traveled to Germany twice and would like to spend more time there.

Where and for how long have you studied German?

I took one year of German in college back in 1978 (University of Maine). Have done some self-study over the past year, preparing for a 2 week trip I took to Germany September 2008.
