Please come and enjoy. This is an informal meeting for German speakers in the Phoenix area. We will be meeting at the Biltmore, at the Paradise Bakery and Cafe next to Borders. There is plenty of options for seating inside and out and tables can be easily joined together. I will have a sign on the table for the Phoenix German speakers group.

Also, in recent meetings, the topic of how much it costs to organize these meetups has continued to come up. People who have discussed this with me have been surprised at how much it costs and that I have taken on the cost of this myself. I have said that I do not like the idea of charging for these meetups because I feel it would discourage people from coming. However, I have thought about this for the past couple of months and I believe that a fee of $1.00 would help to offset the costs of the meetup and be low enough not to discourage people from coming. Also, if the meetup is canceled or if you cancel your RSVP up to one day before the meetup, the fee will be refunded.
