"I enjoyed the meeting. It was great to converse in German and hear so much around you that could imagine you were in - eine kneipe in Muenchen. Apparently it began far earlier than the posted time, which was awkward- as a first time attendee. It would have been helpful to have a point of general introductions for newcomers. "

"I didn't know the venue would be a Lesbian bar. I walked in and didn't recognize anyone so I got a beer and burger and sat at the bar bewteen what turned out to be two Lesbian couples and noticed others fawing over each other. I am a Christian man and I do not like this type of environment."

  • David Janisch
"I felt a little overwhemned as so many people were there in a good restaurant all talking at the same time. It was a little hard to hear conversations. I'm still a newbie, beginner and think I knew the least there. Would love to find someone more my lower end level. I did enjoy the group there and it felt almost like home being around German speakers. People were all very nice and patient with me as well. "

"A lot of people, a little loud, but it was Lothar's Birthday, so what the heck!! Fortunately, it is usually much quieter and more intimate. Lots of great people! Hope to get to know them all!! I will definitely be back!!! Thanks Alex!"

"Unfortunately we arrived a little late (8.10pm) and all the seats were taken and there was no room to add any more, so we had to leave, but next time we will try and arrive a little earlier to join for our first meeting. "
