- Why are you interested in German language and culture?
- "My grandfather was German and it seemed natural for me to learn the language in high school... I just really stuck with it."
- Have you been to Germany (why, how long...)?
- "Been several times... lived in Freiburg im Breisgau as a Fulbrighter for a year. Also worked for the Bundestag in Berlin for a few months. Most recently was in Vienna doing a rotation in psychiatry."
