German Language Stammtisch -new location-

Treffe uns um Deutsch zu sprechen oder zu lernen.

Alle sind willkommen - die einzige Bedingung ist die Bereitschaft Deutsch zu sprechen (oder einfach zuhören). Du wirst Muttersprachler und Fortgeschrittene treffen (sowie viele Fortgeschrittene Anfänger) die deine Deutschkenntnisse gerne verbessern.

Da wir uns in einem Lokal treffen, ist es eine entspannte Atmosphaere bei Drinks und kleinen Snacks . Einfacher Sprachhemmungen oder Huerden zu ueberwinden .

All levels are welcome - the only requirement is a willingness to speak (or simply to listen to) German. You will meet native and advanced speakers (as well as many of an intermediate and beginner level) who are more than happy to help you improve your German skills.

The venue being a pub, you can loosen your tongue with a few libations and/or eat fingerfood.

PARKING – There is free street parking in front of the building (no meter payments required after 6 p.m.) - A big public meter lot behind the building off Allegheny Avenue has $1 per hour meters in effect till 9 p.m. Many towson office buildings have parking behind and generally don’t tow in the evenings, but no guarantees!

FOOD – The Elks Club does not serve food on Wednesday nights, but deli meats and sandwiches will be provided courtesy of Lothar Weber and Binkert’s (www.binkerts.com).

DRINKS – the Elks regular cash bar will be open till at least 11 p.m. – prices are very modest!

AMUSEMENTS and FACILITIES – the club has dart games, a 9 foot professional pool table and outdoor deck which will all be open to us.
