Excelsior Center is a non-profit organization with over 100 years of heritage in the east bay. We are committed to developing new ways to serve the German community & German interest in the form of helping the community, promoting German language and culture through music, movies, and ongoing programs.

This group is for people who love learning and practicing languages. Come meet cool language aficionados, share your native language, practice any language you are learning, and mingle and meet interesting, worldly people. Our events will focus on mingling or attending fun language events in the Peninsula.

GABA is a member-driven non-profit organization that fosters transatlantic knowledge-sharing and networking among German-American and Californian business and tech communities. GABA is dedicated to encouraging German-American business and trade. Our programs address critical business, technical and leadership issues, with different industry groups providing specific resources and exchange.

There are a lot of great groups here in The Bay Area, but no german playgroup, so I thought maybe there are german moms who want to bond with other german moms and their kids playing together. My son Lucas is 2.5 years old and I am a SAHM. I would love to have meetups at playgrounds, in park, zoos etc. Whatever the kids love.

Frühstück is the German word for breakfast, and breakfast on Sundays is a revered tradition. It's a time for food, coffee, and long conversations among friends, before returning to our lives and finishing up the rest of the weekend. We usually meet at Esther's in Los Altos, but once in a while we may branch out and try somewhere new.

We are a group of moms living in the Bay area who have children (9 to 16 yo) who have experienced six month language immersion exchanges abroad. This is a support group for moms (and families) who have either already experienced having their child live away from them for a language immersion experience, or who are considering it.
