A playgroup for German-speaking parents to bring their children to have fun, hear and speak German and meet new people. The ages in our group range from newborn to 10 years old. In 2009, I was new to the area and wanted to create a community.  I lived in Germany and speak fairly fluent German. I was no longer using the language professionally and missed the interaction. I decided to form a group of German speakers in the Fair Lawn, Ridgewood and surrounding areas, to meet once every month or so, on a weekday evening.
